At Tactile Atelier, we treat every artwork with the reverence it deserves. From the final brushstroke to the moment it reaches your door, we ensure a secure, professional, and transparent delivery process.

1. Professional Art Packaging

To ensure your painting arrives in pristine condition, we utilize three specialized packaging methods based on the size and format of your order:

• Reinforced Cardboard Boxes: Stretched or framed artworks are secured in heavy-duty, double-walled cardboard boxes. We use premium cushioning and edge protectors to prevent any movement or impact damage during transit.

• Custom Wooden Crating: For oversized or highly fragile framed pieces, we build custom industrial-grade wooden crates. These crates are hermetically sealed and designed to withstand the rigors of international logistics.

• Safety Tubes (Rolled Canvas): Artworks ordered as "Canvas Only" are carefully rolled with protective archival paper and placed inside dent-proof, high-impact hard tubes. This is the safest method for oversized canvases and allows for easy local framing upon arrival.

2. Estimated Delivery Timeline

Every piece at Tactile Atelier is hand-painted by professional artists. Because we prioritize quality over speed, please note the following timeline:

• Creation & Handling Time: 7–14 business days. During this time, our artists will hand-paint your artwork. We may send photos or videos of the finished painting for your approval before shipment.

• Transit Time: 5–7 business days via premium carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL.

• Total Estimated Delivery: 12–21 business days from the date of order.

Note: Shipping will only commence once you have reviewed and approved the digital previews of your custom artwork.

3. Shipping Costs & Destinations

• Shipping Fee
  We offer 100% free standard shipping on eligible orders. The artwork price shown on our website includes standard shipping, with no hidden standard shipping fees added at checkout.

• Service Area
  Tactile Atelier primarily serves the United States market, while also accepting selected international orders. If your shipping address is outside the United States, we will confirm delivery availability before fulfillment.

• Customs & Taxes
  For international orders, any applicable import duties, customs fees, local taxes, or destination-related charges are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are determined by local authorities and are not included in the artwork price.

• Shipping Availability
  If we are unable to deliver to your address, we will contact you promptly before production or shipment. In such cases, you may choose to update the shipping address or cancel the order for a full refund before fulfillment begins.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your artwork is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can monitor your delivery through:

1. Your Tactile Atelier account dashboard.

2. The official tracking portals of FedEx, DHL, or UPS.

5. Shipping Insurance & Protection

Your investment is fully protected. Tactile Atelier provides comprehensive shipping insurance for every order at no additional cost to you. In the rare event of loss or damage during transit, we take full responsibility for a replacement or a refund.

6. Delivery Logistics

• Multiple Items: If you purchase multiple artworks, they are typically consolidated and delivered together in a single shipment unless otherwise requested.

• Gift Deliveries: We can deliver to an address different from your billing address. If the artwork is a surprise gift, please contact us at info@tactileatelier.com so we can coordinate the delivery timing discreetly.

7. Important Notices regarding Delays

While we strive for punctuality, certain factors are beyond our control:

• Carrier Delays: High seasonal volumes (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas) or severe weather may impact courier speeds.

• Tracking Updates: It may take 24–48 hours for tracking information to sync once the label is created.

• Holiday Schedules: Our studio and partner couriers observe national holidays, which may slightly extend handling times.
